Electric window switch stuck.

The passenger window switch on my forfour is solid and will not allow me to press it down.
Luckilly the window is closed.

Any ideas whether it may be a mechanical fault in the switch - or what?

Is the switch easy to remove and is a new one readily available?

Re: Electric window switch stuck.

hi,
Does the switch look "pissed"? If one side looks further in than the other, I would suspect one of the little plastic supporting pins has broken. Might be possible to mend, but probably easier to replace with a new one.

You will have to take off the interior door panel to be able to get at it.

Regards,

John
